2. What Sente is
Sente is a B2B intelligence service. We monitor publicly available information about the companies you name in your Request and deliver that intelligence as a designed PDF Brief by email on a recurring schedule.
Sente is not:
- A financial, legal, investment, or strategic advisory service. Nothing in a Brief constitutes advice.
- A real-time monitoring service. Collection runs on a scheduled cycle; each Brief reflects the preceding 24-hour or 7-day window.
- A guarantee of accuracy or completeness. We synthesise information from public sources that may be inaccurate, delayed, paywalled, or unavailable at any time.
- A comprehensive research service. Coverage is limited to publicly accessible sources. Private information, subscription content, or sources outside your configuration are not included.
3. Eligibility
The Service is for business customers only. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you are acting on behalf of a legal entity and have authority to bind it to these Terms;
- your use is for that entity's internal business purposes only.
Consumer use is not permitted. UK consumer protection legislation does not apply to this agreement.
4. Accounts
One account per entity. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly at support@getsente.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate accounts to comply with law, manage risk, or enforce these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and payment
| Tier | Monthly price | Requests | Competitors per Request |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | £99 | 1 | up to 3 |
| Business | £249 | 1 | up to 10 |
| Scale | £749 | 3 | up to 20 each |
Billing is monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy.
Failed payments may result in suspension. We will notify you before suspending service.
6. Pre-sale terms and founder pricing
The Service is currently in pre-sale. The product is under active development. By subscribing, you are making a forward commitment to use the Service when it launches — not purchasing access to a live product today.
We aim to launch in Q3 2026. No specific date is committed to subscribers. You will be notified by email when the Service goes live.
No monitoring begins and no Briefs are sent until the Service launches.
Founder pricing structure
| Tier | Months 1–12 (founder rate) | Month 13 onwards |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | £59/month | £99/month |
| Business | £149/month | £249/month |
| Scale | £449/month | £749/month |
- Your pre-sale commitment payment is charged at the founder rate. This covers month 1 of service after launch.
- Billing continues at the founder rate through month 12 (approximately 40% below standard pricing).
- From month 13 onwards, billing reverts to standard pricing. This is stated explicitly in your confirmation email. We will send a reminder at month 11.
- Founder pricing applies to the subscribing entity only and is not transferable.
If we do not launch
If we determine the Service is not viable and do not launch, all pre-sale subscribers will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. No action is required on your part.
7. Refund policy
Before launch: you may request a full refund of any amounts paid at any time before the Service launches, for any reason, with no questions asked. Send one email to support@getsente.io. We will process the refund within 5 business days.
After launch: once the Service is live and your subscription is active, we do not refund the current billing month. Cancel any time from your account settings to stop future charges. We do not pro-rate partial months.
8. Monitoring and delivery
After your Request is reviewed and activated by our team:
- Daily Brief — delivered Tuesday through Friday mornings, covering the previous calendar day. Collection runs 7 days a week; weekend signals are held and included in the Monday Brief.
- Weekly Brief — delivered Monday mornings, covering the preceding full Monday–Sunday week. Only delivered once a complete week of monitoring data exists for your configuration.
- Briefs are delivered as PDF attachments to the email address(es) configured in your account.
Request activation: a Sente operator reviews every new Request before monitoring begins. We may contact you to clarify scope or resolve ambiguities. Monitoring starts only after explicit operator activation.
Multiple Requests: customers on multi-Request tiers receive one Brief per Request, each delivered to its own configured email address.
9. Third-party data and intelligence
Our Briefs synthesise information from publicly accessible sources — company websites, job boards, news feeds, changelog pages, and public registries.
You acknowledge that:
- Third-party sources may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or removed at any time. We do not warrant the accuracy or timeliness of any signal or narrative.
- Brief narratives are analytical summaries based on public data, not independently verified facts.
- Nothing in any Brief constitutes legal, financial, investment, or strategic advice. You exercise your own judgement in acting on Brief content.
- Source coverage is determined by your monitoring configuration. We do not conduct original research or provide comprehensive market intelligence beyond configured sources.
We exclude all liability for business decisions made in reliance on Brief content.
10. Licence to use the Service and Briefs
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to receive, access, read, and use Briefs for your entity's internal business purposes, including sharing them internally within your organisation.
You may not:
- redistribute, resell, or provide Brief content to third parties outside your organisation;
- reproduce Brief content in external publications, reports, or marketing materials without written permission from us;
- use Brief content to train, evaluate, or improve any automated model.
Brief content may incorporate third-party source material. This licence does not confer rights in third-party content beyond what is lawful under applicable copyright exceptions.
11. Your Request
Your Request is the free-form text describing the companies you wish to monitor. It remains your property and you grant us permission to use it solely to configure and deliver your Briefs.
Our operator may revise your Request in consultation with you to ensure it is within scope and within your tier limits.
Personal data in Requests: Requests should not contain personal data about individuals unless there is a legitimate business reason. If you name individual people in your Request (for example, an executive at a monitored company), you represent that doing so is lawful in your jurisdiction.
12. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- monitor any person or entity in a manner that is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
- violate the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of any third party;
- scrape, extract, reverse engineer, or copy the Service's software, design, or data structure;
- circumvent tier limits, access controls, or usage parameters;
- resell, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the Service to any third party.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these restrictions.
13. Our intellectual property
We own the Service, its software, design system, and Brief templates. Sente, getsente.io, and associated marks are our property. No rights are granted other than those expressly stated in these Terms.
14. Confidentiality
We will keep your Request and account configuration confidential. We will not disclose them to any third party other than as necessary to provide the Service.
We will not disclose to any other customer that you are a Sente subscriber or any details of your monitoring configuration.
15. Service availability
We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery.
Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure incidents, third-party source unavailability, or events outside our control may cause delays. We will give advance notice of significant planned interruptions where practicable.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
Both parties acknowledge that this Service is provided to business customers at a fixed monthly price and that the following limits are reasonable given the nature of the Service.
We are not liable for:
- decisions made in reliance on Brief content;
- inaccuracies in third-party source data or monitoring gaps caused by source unavailability;
- loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill;
- indirect, special, or consequential losses of any kind.
Our total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms, in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hypha Technologies Ltd and its directors, officers, and employees from and against any third-party claims, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your use of the Service in a manner that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights;
- Request content that violates applicable law.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory provisions of law applicable to you require otherwise.
These Terms are written in English. The English version prevails in the event of any translation.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email to your registered address. Changes required by law or necessary for security may take effect immediately.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
20. Termination
By you: cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No Briefs are sent after that date.
By us: we may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach or legal compliance reasons, or on 30 days' written notice for any other reason. We will refund any prepaid unused fees if we terminate without cause.
On termination: your licence ends; we will delete your account data within 30 days, subject to retention obligations under law (for example, accounting records are retained for up to 7 years).
21. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or representations.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction. No third party has rights under these Terms.
Force majeure: we are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or infrastructure failures, third-party source unavailability, governmental actions, or acts of God.
